The Dota 2 Ping Checker is a web-based app that allows you to check your ping to Dota 2 servers. If you would like to ping a specific Dota 2 server, you can deselect all servers and select the one you wish to ping. Ping requests are sent through HTTP. This can be useful for troubleshooting connection issues, or for simply avoiding servers with high ping.
